Authors of papers presented at this conference and within the scope of MDPI Sensors may submit a technically extended version to the Special Issue of Sensors - "Metrology, Sensors and Instrumentation for Industry 4.0 and IoT".
This Special Issue aims to collect new papers dealing with a variety of topics, including innovations in localization technologies, smart manufacturing, the integration of physical and digital systems, real-time big data processing, the flexible management of automated production lines, and predictive maintenance. There will be a focus on non-invasive diagnostic techniques; status monitoring; fault detection; reliability assessments; sensors and technologies used to monitor human performance and physiological parameters, including early detection approaches, scalable solutions, and biomarkers; novel sensing solutions and performance assessment in medical applications, including wearable devices; flexible/soft and 3D-printed sensors; innovative manufacturing technologies for health monitoring, agriculture, and food safety; and applications of wired and wireless technologies in IoT, metrology, network optimization, and security.
ABOUT THE JOURNAL
Sensors (ISSN 1424-8220) provides an advanced forum for the science and technology of sensor and its applications. It publishes comprehensive reviews and regular research papers. The aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. The full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced.
